Approved Travel to Thailand

In 2019 the plan was for my wife and me to move to Australia for 2 or 3 years, to save some extra cash before retiring in Thailand. We had been living in Bangkok for 10 years, and I was flying back and forth for work.

All was going well until the plague. 2 weeks to flatten the curve. Wait make that 2 years, and still counting!

But we were still going to stick to the plan, but then the mandates started, and I lost my job.

I’m all for doing things for the greater good, but this didn’t smell right and that’s all I will say.

The new plan, scrape together what we have already, and then retire. But traveling is not that easy from Australia, but more about that later.

While we have been waiting for the exemption to be approved our house is 3 quarters finished and will be ready to move into by the end of the month, February.

After 2 months my exemption to travel has been approved, so once I have my flight booking, I can apply for a Thai Pass and off we go!!!
