Constant and Never Ending Improvement
The Goal
Run The North Face 100 km Thailand in February 2020.
My watch calibration was way out this afternoon.
Today was 12 kilometers at 2% incline zone 2 session. I wanted to push the pace a little towards the end.
At the halfway mark, 6 km I increased the speed every kilometer after that:
Pace
- 0 to 6 km = 5:30
- 6 to 7k = 5:20
- 7 to 8k = 5:10
- 8 to 9k = 5:00
- 9 to 10k = 4:45
- 10 to 11k = 4:30
- 11 to 12k = 4:00
At 60 mins the treadmill stopped and I had to quickly get it restarted. All the treadmills here are set to a 60 min maximum time limit.
I felt really good and I’m enjoying the preparation. Just having the goal of 100 kms in mind when I’m training is pushing me to do more.
