Constant and Never Ending Improvement
The Goal
Run The North Face 100km Thailand in February 2020.
Training Progress Actions speak louder than words
The plan was to run 10kms at a slow pace and enjoy the sights of the Perth riverside.
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I started the run and felt really good, at the turn around marker I just kept running.
As below it ended with 15 and 1/2 kms.
I stopped several times to stretch out the calves, quads and hamstrings, I really believe doing that has helped my recovery.
Beside my calves being a bit tight and eating a bit more than normal I pulled up pretty well, considering.
Clocked a bp 15kms at (1:30:14), not a land speed record but I’m happy with 5:46 per km.
Slowly but surely my Training Progress is getting back on track.
